Default Dzagonour Bastion HM

Hi everyone,

I'm pretty much done with all the HM mish in NF including gate of madness but somehow, we couldn't get the dzagonour bastion mish done in HM.

Anyone out there who's done it and have some advice build wise and strategy wise? Thanks!

we were three players with heroes. 1+2 on the right, 1+2 on the left, and 1+1 on the middle, routing the mobs to the sides. we has something like a mm , ele and para on each side, and whatever in the middle. since mobs keep pouring, we had to wait for a gap, and gank one of the bosses quick. by then, we had more waves coming, so we had to fight a bit more till we had another gap, to gank the next one...

is that it? won't it be too tough for the players and heroes to control each side esp when there's only 3 on the left 3 on the right and 2 in the middle? That seems impossible in HM. Any other strategies that would work fine as well?

I sent all the NPCs to the east, then pushed towards the west portals. As soon as the generals spawned, I ganked the two nearest to the west, then dropped back to support the NPCs. Once I had cleaned that up, I pushed straight into the last generals and took them out one by one.

Was running some sort of balanced with 2 Necros, 2 Paragons, 1 Mesmer, 1 Ele, 2 Monks. (2 humans and heroes)

same strat works for nm...flag two guards at north, 1 at east, you head to south. grab two mms, take out generals first. when generals die, let the minions take care of the rest. run from south to north, kill ele boss. then proceed to the two that are left. voila

  1. Post to the right forum.
  2. Read the wiki(s).
  3. Send all whispers groups to the left, defend center and right, kill bosses in the order warrior, paragon, elementalist, monk.

If you are still having trouble, here's how we finally did it (3 humans (necro, ele, war) rest heroes).

When you get down to the last one or two guys you have to kill to spawn the generals, have the rest of the party run over to where the Ele Boss spawns. Then have the person you left behind kill the last guy or two and spawn the boss and kill him asap. Takes a few tries to get the timing down.

Obviously, if you can bring Pain Inverter from Eye of the North, that would help a lot.

Good luck. That one is pretty tough even in NM.
